Impacts
With its limited resource, BFES started the journey with Information
and Communication Technology considering as a power of development.
It doesn't matter how well a student imitates the keystrokes of
the teacher in class. What matters is the ability of our students
to apply the concepts and skills that they have learned in a course
weeks or months later outside the classroom.
These projects always have to depend on information highway to update
necessary curriculum and strategic plan for implementation. The
impacts are very positive in terms of partnership with different
partners and exchange of views. Participation of women is also very
significant. Further contributions in developing and formulation
of country ICT strategy have done through these initiatives.
Alternative Activities Have Resulted
Developing knowledge base considering information access is difficult
task for Bangladesh due to poverty reduction priority in national
activities. There are few impacts resulted for awareness building
and given priority to the poor and disadvantaged in development
strategies. Literacy Movement also is a significant activity
that needs priority to upgrade national development indicators.
There are few achievements regarding quality of education
at different institutional level.
