Keeping in mind these obligation BFES has taken the following Development Projects-

School Education Support by providing financial assistance to the schools at primary and secondary level, students of poor families, special education program, teacher's training for quality improvement, exchange program;

Rural Development Program by providing skill training, vocational education for alternate employment, women development through group education, training and micro-credit for economical emancipation;

Information Technology for Poor as an innovative approach for development education at the village level in schools and community by providing / facilitating ICT intervention;

Advocacy in different development and human right issues by organizing workshop, seminar, publication and exchange programs.

Summery of Activities

BFES has developed different education models aiming at improve quality of education in Bangladesh. These are based on knowledge assembled through international collaboration and achievements through information dissemination process. The models are in a brief: Bangladesh Technology Education Project is to stimulate innovative approaches to international/overseas educational problems emphasizing prevention and coordination of community services; to expand international educational training activities; to broaden resources for children and families located in rural areas by establishing an international collaborative bond with educational institutions and community leaders in the United States and other countries. We seek to support current and future teachers, parents, and others with relative ideas for using Informative Technology to enhance student achievement. Create and spread collaborative models for using ICT to advance teaching and learning in rural areas. Develop and nurture an international network of committed educators, parents, and other dedicated to the development of effective uses of ICT in education. ICT for disadvantaged people of Bangladesh aiming at create employment opportunity for rural poor. For Bangladesh, the rise of Information Technology is an opportunity to overcome historical disabilities and once again become the master of one's own national destiny. ICT is a tool that will enable Bangladesh to achieve the goal of becoming a strong, prosperous and self-confident nation. In doing so, ICT promises to compress the time it would otherwise take Bangladesh to advance rapidly in the march of development and occupy a position of honor and pride in the comity of nations. Moreover, BFES is providing Training Projects for School Teachers to ensure quality of education at the grassroots level and also Advocacy in different development and human rights issues by organizing workshop, seminar, publication, internet site and exchange programs.
